Yakirah Lee, CNM, MSN Board Certified Nurse Midwife 16+ years OB experience Founder, Lullaby Care Collective

Yakirah became a mother at age 16. Long before she had the clinical language for what she experienced, she understood firsthand what it felt like to navigate new motherhood without adequate support - young, uncertain, and largely navigating it alone.

That experience never left her. It followed her through her nursing education, through years at the labor, delivery and postpartum bedside, through her graduate work, and through earning her board certification as a nurse midwife. It is the reason Lullaby Care Collective exists.

Yakirah has spent 16 years in labor and delivery - present for thousands of births, and present for what comes after. She has watched families go home from the hospital with a baby, a stack of paperwork, and a follow-up appointment six weeks away. She has seen what happens in that gap. She has also felt it.

Lullaby Care Collective is for every family navigating the maternal journey - from the moment you start thinking about pregnancy through the end of your fourth trimester. That means preconception support for the woman who wants to prepare her body and her mind before she ever sees a positive test. Prenatal education for the woman who leaves every OB appointment with more questions than answers. Birth preparation for the family that wants to walk into that delivery room informed. And postpartum care - real, clinical, in-home nursing support - for the weeks when the system steps back and you are expected to figure it out alone.

This is your journey. We are here for all of it.
